#6003, "Northern strain trophy seekers??"

hey guys i know must of you are from the california area where the bass are of the florida strian, i was wondering if anyone on this forum was using swimbaits for northern strainers?

Is there a different way to approach the NStrain than the FStrain?

ive found that rarely the fish will explode on the bait and you have to retrieve it in a slow pumping motion letting it rise and fall during a moderate retrieve. They always seem to hit it when if falls away from my site (to deep for me to see). I have never had much success with the surface baits, only the slow sinking baits, but for anyone who knows some knowledge on fooling the NS please help me out here!!!

thanks
BEN

god bless
