Shorten your leader, you'll be fine- uni to uni works really well and you gotta love how easy it is to tie- works with spectra to flouro and mono to flouro as well. Especially in freshwater applications it's all you need, but it holds up to the bigger units as well. No need for a 6' leader, make it 3' or however long you're comfortable with chucking a bait, no need to drag it through the tip while casting. If you're throwing 25 lb. mono or whatever, I wouldn't worry about the flouro at all with the Hudd, but if you're throwing Spectra the short flouro leader may be what you need for the confidence to get bit-
