Wazup guys, I wanted to ask a question. I know that some of the favorites rods out there with the swimbait guys are hard to find and expensive to get built, like the Calstar 811 and the Rainshadows everybody seems to like. I was wondering, if I were start offering custom built versions of these blanks, do think I would do some good business? I've been building only a short time now but after looking through my favorite rodbuilding catalog, I was thinking how much easier it would be to just buy the blank you need and build the rod to your specifications! For example, I could buy a blank like a 811 or RS SW967 and put good quality guideson it. Then I could make the handle and reel seat to anything I want, even a split grip like an Okuma! Once again, when my experience grows, do you think offering these rods custom would do well business wise???
