The story on the FLW site was that he was fishing with Shaun Bailey (So-Cal stick) and Shaun was working another bed fish. He was pitching into a nearby area and caught a 6lb male and a while later caught the 14. She probably was a bit spawned out but often times that's when the big females are most vulnerable after they've just dropped their eggs and they're still guarding them :)
