oh dang... I guess I've been playing with my barbies too much lately :9 If my image has been tarnished by using the spinning rod and plunking the occasional senko, I can hang lol.

I had a chance to fish with Rod Thigpin recently. Rod makes the Stocker Trout for you guys who don't know. I was impressed when he whipped out a miniature blowtorch to repair his bait on the water. Then I come home and see this thread, too funny.

Super glue gel works well in places where you don't have to insert the hook. For the places where you do need to insert the hook, pouring some plastic in the torn up spot can help, or the blowtorch as Urban is suggesting. I'd get one... but I'd probably burn myself. I figure it's better to glue my fingers together than burn them off :)
