Tubing can be a little TOO relaxing sometimes. I've gotten a bit of a reputation for falling asleep in my kickboat or on the occasional sandbar! Anyway, tubing is a blast. You can get into areas that boats can't or aren't allowed and because you have limitted mobility (as compared to a boat with an outboard) I think there is a tendency to fish more carefully and thoroughly.
