This post is just for everyone to get caught up on the annual BNT meeting we held last friday night dec. 12th.

Discussion about the direction BNT is headed in the future:
We are slowing moving BNT in the direction of being a Kickboat Tournament Bass Fishing Circuit rather then a club. With that in mind we will not be holding year end meeting's but rather a year end party somewhere with easy access to all region's for awards, etc. Now that the Delta Region is in full force and with the start of the Shasta Region in 2004, I can make the direction of the Open events more public. BNT is going to be starting a Centeral Coast in 2005 and this is also the 1st year the S.R will have its own Open. In 2006 BNT will be starting a region in either the L.A area or the S.D area. Once all regions are running up and on there own and have the ground set for there Open's I will be pulling the 5 Open into the "Big Show". The Open's will then be changed into there own circuit and renamed to the Pro Kickboater Tour with more sponsor backing and more of a spotlight this will be huge and a goal for everyone to someday compete in. Who is going to be the 1st Pro Kickboater AOY?


Pinto Discussion:
Pinto Lake is now under new ownership, I have met with the new people there and they welcome BNT and all kickboaters, however expect to see some minor changes. The kids fishing derby that Pinto Lake held for years will now be put on by BNT and the Watsonville P.D. This is a great thing for the kids, BNT and the future of Kickboat Bass Fishing. More to come on this as we get closer.

Web Changes:
As we continue to grow with diffrent regions more results, etc. We are putting a lot on Rob's shoulder's and will be making some changes to the results page's. You will notice a format change, all the pics and results will still be there but controlled and updated by the T.D's for that region.


BNT Tournament of Champion's:
BNT will be holding its 1st ever TOC this year. We will be taking the top 5 angler's from each region to compete against each other in a TOC format. There will be no entry fee for this event and BNT will pay back as follows...1st place $300 2nd place $200 3rd place $100. There will be a big fish option. We will be holding the event at Clear Lake for 2 days in Nov. of 2004. The regular BNT rules apply and to qualify, you must be in the top 5 of angler's for your region by weight. If you qualify in 2 or more region's you will go as what ever region you qualify higher in. If you tie by place in 2 or more region's we will be taking you from the region that you had the highest weight. Weight will be based on a best of 5 events. Specialty events like the Open's, SCBBBC Invite or turkey shoot's do not count for your TOC weight. That leaves an even 6 events per year per region that you can qualify for the TOC in, remember we take your best of 5 events so you can throw one event out.

Angler of the Year:
AOY is total weight for the year not counting specialty events like the Open's, SCBBBC Invite or turkey shoot's. There is no throw out tournament for the AOY race.

We have not had a chance to put together the schedule date's but did want everyone to have a chance to see what we will be fishing in the Travelers Region in 2004.
