I got to the point at about 5:45AM. The low tide was supposed
to be 10:30AM so I knew we would have a tough day. It was forcast
for wind and we would be on a falling and low tide. I knew if you
got in the water earlier enough you could probably get some good
bites. It took a while for me to set up the boat and get in the
water. I got in the same time Swampy and buzzfish got in. I went
out to the point with the trees and got a couple of dinks right
away. Then you could just feel the low tide was a commin and the
places you would have just been fishing minutes ago, were too shallow
now.

I went over to union point marina and fished a short while and
then the wind came up too much to fish out in that area. I then
made my way around the very outside wall going towards the barrier
(since I never had seen that area before). I made it to the barrier
just as it was about low tide. I had to decide if I was going to
drag my kickboat over the rocks. I then was a couple of guys from
san jose that were fishing there for the 2nd time (not bnters).
They had decided with the slow bite, wind, and low tide to come
back over the barrier. I then saw Swampy and Buzzfish down fishing
the wall so I decided to go over. I hung out with them the rest of
the day. I ended up catching 2 more senko fish about 2lbrs each.

I plan on making it out this week again as we are in the sweet
spot for the tide. IE high tide in the morning hours. I'm going
to go to Disco Bay (very north/east corner) where I found a vacent
lot where you can launch from. This way you can do Indian slough
or the bay depending on what the wind does. Should be Wed or Fri.
