The river is still in great shape after the levee break downstream.
I was on the water by 5:30am and headed towared the barrier throwing a buzzbait. I had 2 blow-ups, 1 missed and 1 farmed, before I reached the barrier. I fished above the barrier the rest of the morning for a total of 9 keepers and a few dinks, best 5 was 12-13lbs. Caught fish on blades, buzzbait, frog, and flipping. Looking forward to the upcoming tourney :7
