The water has come down from when it was going over the spillway a few weeks ago. It is still higher than it was at any time that the lake was open last year. The Water district has set a water level limit of (I believe) 55% of the total capacity of the lake. The storms made it impossible to let out enough water through the gates to keep it at that level, but now they are approaching it. The launch ramp is more than 1/2 covered and there will be no problems launching. I'd be more worried about large debris still floating around. The water is still chocolatey and you could hit a tree or whatever before you knew it was there, so drive slow.
Tight lines,
Wade
