The other night I fished for 3+ hours for 1 bite at the dam. It came on a 1/4 oz rattling jig with a baby brushhog slathered in Smelly Jelly. The bite was seriously mush and swam off super slow. Teeth marks came back on the trailer about 1/2 way back on the "paddles". I'd guess it was either a micro bass or wasn't at all hungry. As cold and murky as things are I'd go as slow as possible with lots of scent and maybe some noise.
This weekend I plan on hitting the South end from my kick. Maybe we'll see eachother out there. Either way, good luck to you and your lady.
