IFISH say's,

Yesterday, CZ and I headed out to Beacon Harbor for some fishin'. I had a wild bug up my keyster :+ and thought about picking up a new rod/reel combo. I went into Hook, Line & sinker Tackle Shop @ Russo's marina thinking I'm only going to pick up a crankbait and a lighter and that's it. Boy was I wrong ( Mind you, I haven't boughten a new rod/reel combo in over 3 years !!! ) }( I take a quick look at their rod collection and see mostly G-Loomis, and Lamiglas's. Like a sesame street episode, I chose the rod that didn't look like the others. It was a 7'3" Kistler Frog Special. Talk about a sweet rod !!! :7 But since I got a new rod, I need a new reel. Thankfully, they had a sale on Curado's for $107.99 !!! Although I didn't use a frog on it, I was able to muster up a couple fish crankin on it. I was pretty happy to get a fish on my new combo. I would highly recommend picking one up if you get a chance, they're sweet !

Oh, fishing was ok too. We put a limit in the boat, and each caught around 7-8 fish a piece, crankin, drop-shottin, and flippin'. Fun day, but a pricy one. Thank god I don;t have a wife or I'd probably be in trouble for spending 270 bucks just like that !:+ :+ }(
