Nice to see you had some luck at Anderson! Me and a few other guys had the same idea and took the boats out to Almaden. All of us were on fish. 2 guys landed 5, I landed 3 and another landed 2. My biggest was 3lbs 2oz and the biggest of the day was 4lbs.
It's funny you mentioned jig fishing and dragging it slowly. We weren't even dragging them. We were letting them sit for 1-2 minutes at a time. I couldn't believe it! I had to take a phone call and I let it sit for about 4 minutes and landed my biggest in the middle of the conversation with the plumber! :D That was my first time catching fish on jigs. You really know there is a fish there...tick tick WHAM!!! ----------------------------------
