LAST EDITED ON Jul-25-01 AT 03:37 PM (PST)

What if a number of fishermen start 'catching up a storm' with this not-often-considered tactic (lead-headed swimbaits, that is). Y'get a few trophy bass being caught, & next thing you know, Rob, you could be at the forefront of a whole (new?) approach in bass-fishing -- the next 'latest/greatest' bassin' technique! Wow, you could really be on to something!
That kind of publicity can turn into an incredibly LUCRATIVE business -- just think how Gary Yamamoto must feel, seeing the success, first of his twin-tailed hula grub, and now of the SENKO??!!! How can the guy SLEEP at night, knowing the commotion he's caused in bass-fishing circles with his 'magical' baits -- and the MONEY he's made off them??!!!

Now, personally, I have yet to catch a fish on one of these babies (at least not one of these over-5-inch models). But because of you, Rob, I *do* have a few variations in my tacklebox.

Obviously, this technique is not suitable for ALL conditions -- what is, of course? But there may be a whole WORLD of fish waiting to be caught on 'em, once the techniques & applications get to be known & understood (and you're teaching *US* first, right???). :-) If that's the case, we can always say, 'we knew you when,' and know you were right there when it all began!

OK, OK, I'm getting a little carried away here, but what's the harm in lettin' the old imagination run a little???

I'd say this sponsorship of yours is great news. I'm anxious to continue fishing with you & learn more about how these baits can help me (us) CATCH MORE FISH! And congrat's on getting the attention you deserve, full-fledged BASSIN' FIEND that you are! All the attention you've been focusing on this -- shall we say *profession*? -- of yours, is only *beginning* to pay off!

Take it & run, bud! You're on your way!
