Ya know,we went through all the variables when doing the schedule and all was approved.Clint(and me)spent alot of time discussing the safety issues and going over the moon and tides.I really don't think it wiil be unsafe but do think the concerns should be brought up if ya have any.
I think it will be safer than launching by mildered island and basicly fishing a freeway for boats.I am really looking forward to this tourney and would love to see it happen.My whole thought for doing a night tourney there was the lack of boat traffic above the barrier along with the great bite we would encounter.
As far as the launching in the dark is concerned,we have been doing that forever and I don't see the difference between o' dark thirty in the morning or at night.At least we won't be launching off the barrier(which we did for years and even in the daylight is very scetchy).From what I can tell the tides are perfect for this and the moon will be a'shinin bright!:D
