Fished a local club tournament at Naci this past weekend. It was our last one of the year and a two day. We had 15 boars (about 26 anglers)This club is an individual weight format like the TBF. They are doing boat inspections at the front gate, it only took a quick minute for the girl to walk around our boat, so I would be surprised if they took much time if any to look at a kickboat.
Water level is still up pretty good, not as low as last year. Water temp was right around 70, clear. I had a fun couple of days, guessing had close to 50 fish days, just could not get the 2 lbers I needed, only had 6.5 each day. I ended up in 15 th out of 26. My boater ended up in 4 th. Winning weight for two days was around 23 lbs . My boater had doubles both days on spooks. The first was on the second cast of the day, two 2lbrs crushed his spook at the same time, both hooked up. Oh, and that was by the Dam! Lots of bait fish on the surface early. I am sure the B-n-T TOC is going to be a lot of fun with lots of fish caught. Heck, my thumb is all chopped up from all those spots!
