I got on the water about 8am, nice area to launch from. I rowed over and hooked up with Swampy, LazyFish, and IFISH. Threw a buzzbait for a bit, no takers (didn't really expect any but I had to try). Threw spinnerbaits, Senko's, and crankbaits the rest of the day. Ended up with 8 bass and two stripers. All but one of the bass were small but fiesty. My decent fish went 4.4 and came on a Senko. It was pretty cool because I saw something pushing bait up next to a clump of weeds, tossed in the Senko, and the fish just hammered it! Almost like a top water bite... I think that LazyFish had the biggest fish though; it looked bigger than the one I got but he did not weigh it. Off the water at about 4pm and headed home.

As a side note, Swampy and I were taking a shortcut hwy 4 west to Tracy Road. The shortcut wasn't so short as there had been a fatal accident on hwy 4. Aprrantly the person who caused the accident ran off. Life is short; enjoy it while you're here!
