#13333, "Anderson 2-23"

I fished Anderson yesterday in my new kickboat (Outcast PAC-8) yesterday. It was nice out there, no waterskiers, jet skis, etc.

The fishing was decent. I launched at 12:00 noon and took out at 5:45. I caught 11 fish, largest was about 2lbs. Most of the fish were in the 1lb. range. 8 fish on Norman Deep Little N (purple / chartreuse), 3 fish on Roboworm Zipperworm (brown / purple).

The fish were holding in 10' - 20' feet of water adjacent to rocky flats. Not many fish on steep rock banks or mud flats.

Anderson is cool right now without boats on the water. Even though most of the fish were small, it was nice to have a quiet afternoon on the water and catch some fish. I would recommend fishing it at least one time before the lake fills back up.
