Good and reasonably priced are a hard combo to find :) I have this backup pair of cheapie $20 polarized shades, and they are better than not polarized, but still not all that great. I was a big Hobie fan for years and had a couple pairs with grey lenses, but when I got the moss green solar bat lens, those are sick!!! I'm seeing fish now that I know I wouldn't have seen otherwise. The difference between a good pair of polarized glasses vs. non polarized or no glasses at all is unbelieveable. I really believe that the more you wear polarized sunglasses, the more your eyes adjust to it and you can really train yourself to see better under water over time. When I take off my shades it's like I'm blinded or something. My eyes just can't handle it without sunglasses. Anyway, for sight fish you want a green or yellow lens whatever you get. I don't like a mirror finish on the lens either although supposedly the Kaenon shades have a mirror finish but are still good for sight fishing. Those are buku bucks though. Hit me up at the Open Clint and I'll show you the Solar Bats. I thought it was just a bunch of hype on NCBF but they are legit, and no I'm not sponsored :)
