I would think the frog bite should be coming around a little bit right now, and get better as the deeper grass reaches closer to the surface. I believe the stuff that is matting on the surface now is a little shallow for the fish on this lake. There is so much good deep structure in the form of breaks and channels that I think they are not shallow at all once the sun gets up with that real clear water, grass or not. If the lake holds to what it did last year, as summer goes on a good algae bloom should develop and reduce some of the visibilty, and that will help a lot. Last year the water went from what it looks like now to about 2 feet of vis later in the summer, and that made fishing a lot better.
