While fishing yesterday on Lake Coyote’s dam. I hooked into a nice 5#er.
I found out that this was one smart fish.
Almost immediately when this fish found out it was hooked it made a direct charge to the rocks.
It literally jump out on top of a near by rock as if it knew how to put a nick in the line.
Then the fish gave a run to deep water as if it was testing my drag or if it had weaken my line.
Sure enough “tick” my line broke off.

Anyone else have any smart fish stories?
