Showed up to Smith Canal and met up with Steve....Weather was perfect, very slight breeze if any, and fairly warm weather. Fishing wasn't real good out there today though, I probably ended up catching 10 fish (lost/missed 6 others). The biggest fish was about 1.5 pounds, and the average was 10 inches. Probably had 2 keepers all day. Kind of suprising being that all but 2 fish came on 9x senko's. Oh well, hopefully the bigger ones will show their faces next weekend. 2 spinner bait fish on red/black spinner baits...all the rest of the fish were on watermelon red/black flake or green pumpkin w/black flake. All fish were up tight, and hitting hard...still a fun day. See you all out there next weekend....and be careful not to get washed out next week with a big tide swing.
