#1168, "Rogue Swimbait Rods"

Does anyone have the SB807or8c swimbait rod? If so how do you like it and what baits do you throw with it? The reason I ask is because I am looking for a new swimbait rod for baits like the 9" slammer and similar baits in the same size range. I have the sb796c and love it but it feels a bit too small for 9" baits. Does anyone know if the sb807c can handle 9" baits well?

Thanks

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day

I have a 808c I throw my hudds and 9" slammer with it. I have not gotten to throw it much but when I have it works great with both the baits. I'm going to try the 9"castaics next time to see how it works with these. It takes some time to get used to after using a smaller rod.I bought mine just for throwing the bigger baits.
