#1896, "Shop with biggest Big Hammer Selection?"

OK I'm a die hard BH fan...but have a hard time stocking up on my colors...trying to support my local shops...but they're not so well stocked.
Took a look at Tackle Warehouse but no luck on quite a few colors. Found one online shop back east that has everything...but again I'd like to keep the $$ local.

So my question is...which shop(s) in Ventura or SB County carries the most....and keeps them stocked?

Thanks!

Not sure if they have the hammers but they have a good selection of bass stuff. Worth a try...

Yeah Eric's is where I get most of my stuff...but the Big Hammer selection is limited to maybe 10 colors at best...prepackaged sets..no individual bins. Only had one of the many colors I was after.

thanks!

Harbor Tackle in Santa Barbara has a pretty good selection of most of the 5 inch and 3 inch...I dont know if you have checked there but they are worth a shot.

Also Hook Line and Sinker in Santa Barbara is kept pretty well stocked and has a good selection as well.

Big Hammer is located in Santa Barbara so I know they try and do the best they can to keep everyone stocked on baits but if they are out of stuff your not going to find it anywhere. If the site you are talking about is LandBigFish.com how they do their business is by working as a middle man. They dont stock any Big Hammers and they also dont know what Big Hammer has in stock, all they do is get an order from a customer and send it to Big Hammer and if Big Hammer doesn't have it they back order it for you until they do...I personally don't think its that great a system but to each there own. Normally when I want baits I want them right then and not in a few weeks.

What colors and sizes are you looking for...I could try and tell you if the shops up here have them and save you a drive! Let me know.

Also, if you haven't tried tacklewarehouse yet they are really helpful people. I know with Big Hammer I have called them up and told them what I wanted and they got it for me even though it wasnt on their website. They are pretty cool with that sort of thing. So if all else fails!

I would contact Hammer and ask them where they reccomend you to go. They have detailed records of who buys what and that should be easy for them to tell you.
