I have a Prodigy spinning reel and it performs flawlessly. I've never been disappointed with Cabela's. If you buy this combo I'm certain there is a very good chance you'll be quite happy with it for years and years. I'd take that combo out fishing for any bass any day anywhere!

I had a 6'6" ml the tip broke twice, they replaced it both times. I would not buy another the tip's seem very britle.

It dosent really matter if your cabelas rod breaks, just call them up and they will usally send you another no questions asked. It just sucks when your fishing and the tip snaps. Hopefully you have better luck than I did, mine was a reall thin blank though
