I finally got my bait back, I made the bait my friend painted it :) I did the easy part :) Anyhow it is 13.5" and I used a BH tail till I get some time to make a tail mold. It is pretty much like a slammer but... I added about 1.5oz of lead so it will get down alot deeper...

Looks pretty good, very slammer-ish. I like the idea of weighting it too, get it down to the big boys :D

What was the idea behind the color scheme? I know you've mentioned squaw fish quite a bit, it doesn't quite look trouty.

I just let my friend paint it however he liked. I am going to try for a squawfish next or clear lake hitch type color well see what he paints? Untill I get my own airbrush it will be upto him.

I was just curious. An airbrush is definetly the way to go.

Good luck with your bait, hope you hang a hog on it.
