Is there a difference in the drag on a Shimano Chronarch compared with the Curado? There doesn't appear to be anything mentioned in the catalog about a difference between the drag on these two reel unless I missed something. Thanks.

Do you happen to know if the previous Chronarch model had the Dartanium drag in it as well? The capacity on the 100 series of reels a slight concern for me. Thanks for your help.

The original Chronarch had the standard titanium fiber washer. If you are concerned with line capacity you might want to look at the "BSV" model. It has a deeper spool than the standard B model. If you are going to use it for bass fishing the line capacity shouldn't be a problem. I think my B model held 100 yards of 15#, if you have a bass run you down 100 yards then it deserved to get away!}(

The reel would be used for browns and macks along with an occasional steelhead. I have a CT100 which has a similiar line capacity to the Chronarch and several hot rainbows have tested how much line is on there. Thanks for your help.
