FYI: Came across a close-out sale on some Shimano Telemar 7'6" MH rods that would make a pretty good swimbait rod. I believe they were designed for saltwater application, but are lightweight, and would handle Hudds and like lures very well. List price: $139.99, Sale price: 50% off. They also have some 8' Telemars that feel pretty good.

hi Len,

I just want you to know that I moved this post because it's about product availability and I want all of that type of post to go on this forum. I absolutely want to have this kind of post on the website, I just want to have everything on this particular board for the sake of fairness.

When I look at the stats for the website, the New Product & Product Availability forum is becoming one of the most popular aspects of the site so don't think that it will get any less attention here :)
