Looks like the weather is going to be great, and the fishing should be very good. My boat is in the shop and my wife has yard work planned for me all weekend ;( Please post reports and pictures after your trips, so I can live vicariously through all of you.

Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what have-yous

I'm sending my good luck over to Mr. Cameron Smith who made the top 10 cut at the Havasu National Guard, his 2nd top 10 cut in as many years. Go get um tomorrow!

Wish I could have posted something good. We thought the WON was Saturday at Melones and were surprised to find out it was the rookie teams instead. So we pre-fished for 6 hours and found some big bed fish. Nico cast on one of them and shook it off on the first cast. It was over 10. Saturday we could have done a 25-30lb limit no problem. 35 wasn't out of the question.

Sunday it was a blown out windy mess. Jay and Kevin caught the 10lber we shook off on Saturday. They won the rookie team with that one fish which went 10.4lbs. Our other fish were impossible to see or fish for in the wind. Nico did hook one late in the day but it was buried in a tree and broke off. It was a 7 pounder. Totally disappointing day. We brought in 3lbs for 3 fish that I caught casting around with regular stuff while we tried to bed fish the big fish blind, etc. O well.
