I would go with the Loomis CBR845 or the CBR843. Great rods!

I've caught quite a few cr/bait, spinnerbait, and topwater Bass with my favorite rod, the Kistler Helium 7', Medium Casting model(HE70MC). I've landed lightly-hooked Bass because of that rod IMO. Its sensitivity allows for me to tell the difference between a light bite and a hitting a piece of wood. Matched with a Daiwa TDZ, the whole rig weighs about 10 ounces.

Just get the loomis MH 7' for those weights (the blanks are pretty thin), I have a 7' M' and 7'6" and have been very happy w/ them.

Hey let that Bass go I wanna catch her some day

Here's exatly what your lookin for:

I cant say too much about their graphite but for crankin its all about these rods. For what your lookin for I'd go with the XCF705R. I've had mine for about 7 years and still havent found a better replacement. Many think glass is outdated, heavy, and not very sensitive, but that isnt the case with these rods. I rarely miss fish on this rod compared to graphite. Loomis rods are great but overpriced in my opinion.
