Decided to make an early morning run over to Lake Los Carneros this morning with Bryan Davis. Started the day off right getting a nice 2.5 pounder on the Buzz Hammer. It was a very interesting strike for a buzzbait. No splash, no swirl, no strike really - the lure just all of the sudden got heavy. Bryan showed up and started getting fish pretty regularly on weightless Salt Shaker Worms and crawdad pattern crankbaits. I persisted with the Buzz Hammer, fished the dam for nothing, then went back over to the East side of the lake. Picked up a smaller fish (12 inches or so) on the weightless Salt Shaker Worm. A little further North along the East shore I got a huge blow up on the Buzz Hammer and landed a solid 3 pounder. Bryan joined me and we had a nice run on averaged size bass on crawdad and firetiger colored crankbaits. We were off the water by 10:00 am. Bryan ended up with 9 bass and I had about 7 or 8 (lost count when we got into the steady crankbait bite). Good day for late November at Los Carneros.

It's just North of the 101 between the Fairview and Los Carneros exits.
From South: Get off on Fairview exit, turn right on Fairview, turn left on Calle Real, turn right on La Patera, look for path and gate on your left.

It's about a 5 minute walk down the path to the Lake. Shore access is very limited.
