San Bernardino Co. is a big county. Where within it do you live? I lived in San Bernardino city near the University for a total of 4 years in 2 different time spans and locations. Bluegill might be funner for your smaller guests. One of the flood control ponds just North of the University used to have plenty of Bluegill and Green Sunfish, it also had plenty of Carp. It was a long walk and may be posted now so do some recon before hauling all of your guests out there just to be disappointed.
Tight lines,
Wade

i live in alta loma, where the I15 and 210 meet.

bluegills are fun, but there everywhere, so where theres a good population of carp, theres bound to be 'gills. plus im hopin 4 a small one 4 my pond.

Puddingstone L. would probably be your best bet for places that are easy to find. Morris and San Gabriel both have fish but I don't know about the legality of fishing them.
