#16774, "Tackle shop in Sacramento"

I'm going to be traveling to Sacramento for work later next week. I'm traveling from Nebraska (not exactly the swimbait capitol of the country). Could anyone give me the names and/or addresses of some tackle shops that would have a nice selection of swimbaits?

Thanks

If you have the time, do yourself a favor and go to Oroville Outdoors. They have EVERYTHING, just about. Fil and the guys will take care of you. The shops in Sacramento are "ok" at best. 2nd choice would be the Hook, Line, and Sinker in Oakley. Gene has an excellent shop down there.

If it is Sacramento only Fisherman's Warehouse on Folsom Blvd. would be your best bet.

Oroville Outdoors
2525 Oro Dam Blvd W Ste B
Oroville, CA 95965
(530)533-4990

Hook, Line, and Sinker
3100 Main Street Suite 260
Oakley, CA 94561
(925) 625-2441

"I don't keep what I catch. I just stick a barbed hook in its face, yank it gasping from the water, rip the hook out, & then throw it back in, leaving it to wonder what kind of god would allow such a thing."

If you have the time and don't mind the effort it takes to make an hour and a half drive out to the Bay Area, visit Walton's Pond. It's one of the best bass specialty shops in norcal. But if you're limited to Sacramento, then it's gonna be Fisherman's Warehouse as Sacto John posted above.

Walton's Pond
14837 Washington Ave.
San Leandro, CA 94578
510) 352-3932

Tue-Fri 11 AM - 7 PM, Sat 6 AM - 4 PM
