Has any one fished here lately? Reports say that the bass are wide, but i've seen alot of reports before that say that.

I'm going there tomorrow AM with my Dad for a father's day kind of outing and was wondering if anyone had any info or tips.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,I was there a mounth ago. I had great expectation to catch a lot of bass with Jerkbait which is my favorite lures.But,somehow i didn't have any bites with hardbait for a few hours except catching one fish that was pretty good size with Megabass Griffon.After I strated using 5'senko (watermelon with blackflake).I got about 10 fish in 2 hours.It was pretty fun,though size was so-so,but they are very healthy and strong!
I tried Dropshop as well,get bite immediatory but catch only small one.

Thanks, I just went and bought a few new cranks. I'm sure the plastics will work, but like you, I'm hoping the hardware gets chewed. Love fishing the zara's and the cranks.

Its' my preasure,You know,these lures are what I recomend to use;
Lucky Craft,Pointer78,Flashminnow80 or 95Tr. work very good.Color?
Personaly I like Ghost Minnow type and Ayu color as well.
I often go to buy Japanese lure at Tackle Island in Gardena.It is bit pricy if you compare with American lures,but they are so cool!

Good Fishing!!!

The hot bite at Laguna has been on buzzbaits first thing along the grass edges. Once again I'm liberating the feline from the sack, but this bite is over quick so if you're out there first thing give it a try.

I fished Laguna saturday, It was blowing hard. The topwater bite is good in the mornings and will shut down by 9, I started throwing rip baits and managed a few in the flats. But the real deal was plastics Dropshot in the grass and you will get fish, It wasn't wide open but it was solid. Biggest was in the creek inlet 3.5 pounds. The top water will go off in the evening also. Good luck
