The fishing had improved within day it had been since I last fished this lake. I fished for two hours to catch 7 bass, and even had a couple suprise biters jump on. I threw a flylined crawler on a boil and suprise, suprise it ate it and was a carp. Also caught one bluegill off the live bait. Bass where eating the plastic and there where a lot of shad in the water. Yes these where shad, not bluegill, or baby bass. Actual shad. they where pumping water in to the lake and it appeared the water had brought the shad with it. I'll try again tomorrow after work.

You might have me confused with someone else. I was wearing white T-shirt. I can't remember if I was wearing Jeans or shorts but I'll be out there today. I'm white/hispanic 5'11 about 170lbs and all my rods are wrapped black on black. I ussually will wear a visor. If you see me come say what's up.

I would like to do that Jerry but I work nights. I usally drive N/B Rosemead around 6:10 PM. I allways look towards the lake to see whos fishing or catching. On the way home I stop once in a while. I park by the strawberries and fish by the boat races.
