It's been a couple of years. The lake has white bass, black bass, stripers, trout, bluegill crappie and catfish. Check with the office to see whats hot right now. It's a big lake. A lot of water skiers in the hot weather. Cats good at night. Try cliffs and narrows for black bass. Use fish finder and troll for schools of white bass. If they're still planting trout (probably not) stripers chase them in the coves (early and late). My guess is water level may be pretty low right now. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info!
I have a good fishfinder on the boat....what does a striper and whitebass look like on the meter??
I heard they kind of mark like WSB
I really, really want to catch a striper, any tips on what to use for them?

hair raiser jigs are pretty good, in white, chartreuse, orange or green/white. these are basically a bucktail jig with a grub trailer. i've had a lot of luck with the white and green/white.
large rebel or rapala minnows are also worth a try, get a larger size, 4 inches maybe and get a color that matches what they are feeding on. if you see a group of birds diving, its worth trying to fish, the white bass and stripers will school and follow the baitfish.
large topwaters can be fun too, but your best bet is the hair raiser (sometimes called hawg raiser) mister twister, pucci and a bunch of other companies make them, i hope this helps.
tight lines,
perry

I fished up there in early May, good fishing for the largemouth at the north end in the sticks, and some good smallies caught along the steeper dropoffs towards the dam, killer lake- you see these big schools of big goldfish in the trees in the south part, pretty cool looking- some are white, some orange, never seen big fancy looking goldfish in a big lake before- I think the white bass are all in Naci, right down the road, but there are big stripes in San Antonio.
