Anyone fishing Castiac in the past few days? will be going tomorrow and usually troll with lead line for bass/striper this time of year. Have the trout been planted this week? Help please!

I went last week on 12/24/02.We trolled along the dam for nothing.I spoke to the lady in the store and she said it's been real slow lately.They haven't stocked any Trout for a couple of weeks.I think they are due this week.Good luck.

Thanks fishjunky for responding, this is my first post and I appreciate your comment. I will post a report for tomorrow if the fish bite. I have had some great days (max. 44 bass, all released) using lead core line at Castaic Lake when the fish school up off the points in 35 to 40 feet of water but they usually are to deep by this time of the year to reach with leaded line but ice jigs will reach them if they will bite.
