..Hey buddys! Im headed out to Laughlin on friday for a little GETAWAY my girl, but you know you cant be that close to water and not think about fish!Especially knowing exactly what kind of HOGS it is full of! Were going to be stayin at the Edgewater and I wanted to know if any of you know of any good shore spots I could hit around there.On either side or any other spots that I could check out up or down the river!? maybe up towards Davis dam?? I know there are toads in this strecth of river(the whole river for that matter) and they do get em from shore on occasain but where??... I was planning on just chuckin WOOD so i really need some info on where the big boys have been known to roam!I got a new sidedish to show em!.. but hell Im up for ANY bite! Do they dump trout anywhere close by.I heard there can be great trout bite all year?cant see those stripes lettin that happen.... WOODchucker,PHISHnutS I know you guys hunt the river all the time ,have you fished it this far down or heard anything bros!!! ANY info would be awesome!......KEEP EM BENT!!!!

Sorry Phishuntr,but i have not ventured to that area of the river to fish.I have heard of some nice size fish showing up around laughlin but it does'nt seem to be reported too often.I really can't help you out with any specifics but i would just look for the trout and start chuckin'!!

There's the Topac Marsh a little ways down river,right past or under hwy-70 bridge.That's supposed to be a descent place for numbers,largies and stripes,but it's probably a seasonal bite and not much shore access.Maybe a place to check out??

..No problem thanks anyway bro!!..Guess Ill just make the most of it..maybe make way down to the marsh(big crappie I hear) but probably stick to the main river where the dogs are.! Also goin to check out the flow by Davis dam,Im hope theres some shore accsess! Ill hit you guys back with a report, hopefully with a HOG included!! PEACE OUT AND KEEP EM BENT!

Yeah pretty much what Trever said,im sure if you look hard enough on the net you can find out where exactly and when they dump the trout(nevada dept of wildlife).I have heard that they get them right at the casinos,and the biguns arent far behind.But i dont know about shore acsess though,good luck brosky!!!

.. yeah ,Ive been surfin for some info but didnt come up with much. They do dump trout at davis camp (oppsite side of casinos)but couldnt get a hold of any up to date info.Im sure there some spots Ill just have to hunt around for em! Hope I cant get some info from some locals up there but you know how that can go!they can be pretty tightlipped over that way! They like to keep those HOGS on the super DL!!! Hope I STUMBLE over somethin!...KEEP EM BENT!!!!
