Hi guys this is my first post on this board, I was just pointed to it the other day. Anywho does anyone think I can realistically pull a bass out of Lafyette Res. this time of year? After reading, uh who was it's report of San Pablo its looking like slim pickin's around here. And I can't drive, since I'm 15 so these are the only options for me.

Haven't been there myself but I know there are some good bass in there. I have heard there are perch in there which the bass feed on as well as trout. I've also heard the bass are pretty tough to catch for the most part, but I would be that this time of year in to April will be the best time to catch them.
If it was me going up there I would be throwing a jig and pig, and the 9 inch slammer.
If you go, I'd like to hear a report on it. I keep meaning to go but haven't checked it out yet.

Ya there are good fish in there, its just a case of finding them. They've seen every lure in every shape size and color. But the lake record is something like 15# or some fool thing. They keep eating all the trout that get stocked into the lake. I guess I'll go, give me something to do. Gotta break out my new MBR843/Chronarch I guess...:-).
