I am looking to upgrade my bow depthfinder (I know...I need to upgrade my name). I have an X-15 on the console and it has spoiled me. I am trying to decide between mounting another x-15 or going with the X-18ci color unit. Any advice would be appreciated, as I've never actually seen an x-18's performance on the water
Thanks,
NoTrollMotor

Thanks for the feedback. I'm also real impressed by the X-15.

I'll definitely talk to CJ. I've already let him know that I'm going to be ordering one of them as soon as I can scrape up the $$.

I just read a great article from Don Iovino in the new GYCB "Inside line" mag. He details the differences between the older model Lowrance's and the newer units.

Give it a look...I found it to be very informative and interesting.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone who knows more about sonar than him.

Take care!

NoTroll,
How have you been? Fished Skinner lately? I have'nt been there in a couple of months, been fishing Perris last few weekends, because it is closer to Hemet. Let me know what Fishfinder you choose, and how the resolution is. My Hummingbird is OOC, and I need a new replacement. Later.

How's it going GdHkSet.
Perris is a heck of a lot closer to Riverside than Skinner, but I have to hit it on Friday's and weekends and that zoo gets old real quick. Been having some decent luck at Skinner on main lake points. Might try Perris Friday after next, but I'll be off the water by 10:00a.m.
I'll be at Skinner EARLY Saturday for sure. I've been playing Rip Van Winkle the last couple of weekends. We were getting into some good topwater striper bites early this time last year.
