It'll probably be a smallish turnout, so the odds should be good. I hope to see many of you there, I know quite a few yakkers are thinking hard about it.

I'll be donating a couple drop-shot kits and of course some packs of slip-jigs. If the #'s look pretty low I'll be aiming for stuff for everybody.

Thanks Chris, you'll be making some stoked anglers. Are you going to be in on Sat.? I'll be heading that way with the family in the afternoon.

I am looking at putting a weekend event together this summer in Central CA. A little closer for the BNT's and SCBBBC and NKFT guys.

Your suggestions for a venue would be welcome.

Those Central Coast lakes are choked with pleaure boaters during the summer. Although, NKFT does have an event at Naci in June. Really no big fish there. But a fun lake none-the-less.

You might try setting up a tourney at Lake Santa Margarita, I have been fishing/tubin there alot lately and due to the water levels they might be stopping boats from being launched there soon, which would be great for Tubers an Yakrs (no offence to the bass boaters) This would make a great setting for a tourney, and probably alter the rules the lake has on tubers.
Wow, internet is great, Here I am sittin in a hotel in Korea dreamin of fishing!!!!!
One week to go an I will be back on the water.....

Santa Margarita, Lopez maybe. How about on the other side of the mountain? Central California off Hwy 99 someplace? A lot of tubers in the area, good choice of lakes and if it is a weekend (2 day)tournament some of the NKFT guys could come up.

I am not familiar with the lakes up there so we will need some input form the clubs. TacklePro Inc. and the FKPWarehouse would be willing to sponsor a float tube bass tournament somewhere in that area.

A good choice may be Pine Flat. I haven't had much of chance to fish this lake. But definitely a lot of potential. It's also about half way(maybe a little more for the guys from the North). There are some quality spotties in that lake also. I believe there are some other good lakes in that part of the country.

Just some suggestions. Also, I really don't care for our local "go-to"
lakes(Success, Kaweah, and even worse, Isabella). Pine Flat is more diverse.
