Was a rather slow morning. Was out at 5 Am till 8. Mainly schoolies in the 14 to 20 inch range. On the bright side though, I snagged a swimbait and brought up a birds nest of line which had attached to my surprise a 9" black Beauty MS Slammer to it. The bait is in excellent shape, but tied to maybe 12Lb test, so must have been a barn dog throwing it, so I don't feel too bad about keeping it. The kitty's kept my son busy as a virgin at the Chicken Ranch with an American Express card. Every other bait he was getting bit. Going back out tomorrow night for another all nighter, will keep ya posted, fish hard and fish often, beats the hell outta work.

I'll take a trip like that anytime, finding lures while fishing is almost as good as catching fish, and a slammer is even better. Did you check it for teeth marks? I've come across really old z-plugs on the shore at Silverwood but one two many sleeping rattlers in the process x(
I was wondering if the flow in the aqueduct slows down everynight or at a certain time everday? I'm guessing it varies all the time but just thought I'd ask, it would be nice.
Thanks for the report, don't spoil your son too young, he has to learn the importance of being skunked many times :D

I fish 25lb P-line myself, for my large swimbaits and trout plugs. The flow at the duct does vary but generally from around 2 to 7 PM they shut the flow down. In these slack current periods I haven't had much if any luck with the linesides.
