#14290, "2 Saturdays at Hodges"

10-16 and 10-23
22 bass and only 2 dinks. The 23rd(after the first rain) was less fish but bigger fish. Yesterday-10-30(after the second, colder rain) sucked. Lake was cooled to fast, by the in rushing water, I think. Hodges came up 4 feet, at least. Hodges closes today, for the winter.
All ranged from 2 to 9 pounds on spinnerbait, plastic craws, and Ikas with 4-3.5lber's, one 4lb 5oz, a 6lb 5oz, and a 9lb'er.

Here is the 6lb 5oz and a 9lb'er:

Nice fish shred :) That had to be a nice gig at Hodges with no boats out. Makes it fun when it's just the man power boats out there.

That was 2 Saturdays I won't soon forget.
The lack of big powerboats is the true joy of the place, now that the water is down. If it fills to just below the bottom of the launch ramp, that is the goal.
:)

I like the difference in coloration on those fish. The bigger one looks to be more of an open water fish. While the other looks to of lived in heavy cover.

Some of that is the different cameras used.
Both came from about 12 feet of water.
