Happy Thanksgiving!
Anyone fishing this weekend? Where? I'll be wetting a line on Friday while the better half tries to break the bank. I'm thinking Cachuma or Casitas...Gotta try out my new hud I picked up at the BAT last wknd.
Stay safe!
:-)

Live to fish another Day!!

Oddly enough I think I'll be trolling a high sierra lake with a slammer and a wake bait for Mackinaw. Wish me luck, I feel a skunk coming on but hey, gotta try!

Well, my non-fishing cousin is coming from la la land and wants to fish. Has trouble written all over it. Sooooo, I figured Id take him to Clear Lake, rig him up with a slip float and minner, stick a beer in his hand, and maybe he will catch some crappie. Maybe Ill finally get that 3 plus crappie.

Then friday its fresh yellowfin tuna, abalone, and good beer all day. Then monday I start thinking real hard about catching toady toads at.......

Whew! It actually worked, we both caught fish. Maybe 40 crappie, 6 catfish and two bass. I got on this total odd spoon/catfish bite, kinda cool though. Heres some photos.
