#2157, "Gibraltar Reservoir and Upper Mission Creek?"

1. Does anyone know if it is easier, without a 4 wheel drive, to hike to Gibraltar Reservoir from the end of Tunnel Road than parking at Red Rock and hiking to Gibraltar from there? I would like to c&r there when it opens. What species are there?

2. Does anyone know if there is any fishing in upper Mission Creek in the Seven Falls area? I have seen a picture of a very "fishy" looking pool there (rain dependent).

Thanks.

1. Red Rock would be MUCH easier. Trout (steelhead?)

2. ALL front side creeks are closed to fishing.

Also, you may need a permit to fish Gibraltar.

Let us know if you go.

Thanks for saving me a too long hike if and when I go, and thanks for the headsup about the closure of the frontside creeks.
