Took the boat out to Castaic 5/17. We were out on the water by 6:45 and the conditions were great, the water was like glass and visiblity was 13-15 feet. We went out just past the no ski zone and worked a point, drop shotting oxblood 4 1/2" roboworms. hooked into a 1.5# fish and my father caught 2 1-2# fish and lost one. We then preceded around the shore line drop shotting all the way and I lost one in a cove that threw my hook. And then I naild a big 3.5# fish. We came back to that first point and I got two others on 3" Senkos (Black with purple flake) dropshot. We were off the water by 12:30pm
