Anybody been to margarita lately for some catfishin? I know what you are saying it is winter and it is too cold... The only problem is you cant drink and jig for bass at the same time so catfishin' it is. We always end up catchin nice fish so I say what the hell.....I am planning on coming down this next week. Just wondering if anyone has got any news. Last time I posted a nice one around 10 pounds or so. I will bring my camera and keep my fingers crossed. Looks like you have moved up north Rob. Where are you fishin' mostly Shadow Cliffs? Have you tried Stevens Creek yet?

I haven't tried Steven's Creek yet, know anything about it? Shadow Cliffs has been so-so for me but I think I have not fished it at the best times of year.
Good luck with the cats, I haven't heard anything at all about Margarita lately since nobody posts about it and I don't fish it any more. People on the Central Coast, especially the tournament guys are just way tight lipped on everything. Must have been nice to check the reports while I was still down there........

Rob-

I havent been to stevens creek lately. It is duck season so that has started to take up a lot of my fishin days. Do you hunt? As you will see with the lakes up here it is very seasonal. It takes a little time to figure out what works and when. But the best way to learn as you know is to keep going out... I know stevens creek it does hold some big bass. There are alot of underground trees. I normally just throw jigs in em. Are you into nightfishin? If so, I have a secret spot where it isnt uncommon to catch 5 lb bass all night long. Where are you livin? And yes, it was nice to have those reports when you were at margarita!!! I do have some pictures from my trip the fishing was great. I am more of a trout and catfish guy(lazy). But wait till you see what I caught I am sure you will be suprised. I might need you to post the picture for me again. email me and I will send some to ya. I will also let you know where that secret spot is....

Late,
Z-man(Zachary.elliott@exodus.net)
