Fished Castaic with a buddy last night. Unfortunately, I have no good news, Fished a few of my favorite spots on the camping side. One bite, no fish! The weed is thicker than it was a few months ago. Probably due to the warm weather up here lately. I wish I had brought my tube so I could fish the outside edge of the weedline. Next time I am going to an area I haven't fished in a few years, Can you say stealth mission....

If yuor fishing the lower lake I would recommend fishing the deeper water on the west side of the lake . I got into a great bite there 11-10 on big worms-that was at night though. If you want strictly big fish, fish a 5"-8" rainbow worm king deep. I dont fish the uper lake much so go figure there-good luck!
