from the rumors I have heard, the pond on the 7-11 side used to be a hatchery, though I don't know how true this holds, I do know that DFG took fish out of the lake to stock other bodies of water.
now I think the Church, (up on the hill) runs or watches over the lake. I have caught some fish in there, but never really had an epic day there. there is really only about 3-4 spots to even cast, but I have even float-tubed it a couple times for only a few fish per trip. Last time I was down there, people had a chainsaw cutting trees down into the water?? Another thing is there is a runoff on the far North side that is sort of like a V-ditch, if you follow this down the hill about 100 yards, there is a really mossy little pool, when I used to fish it, it was loaded w/ fish, and really big Bullfrog's that really loooove Sumo Frogs!! Also seen schools of about 600-700 tadpole-sized catfish all over the Lake! Give it a try, never gotten hasseled once, even starting down the hill in front of all the Po-Po's that hang at the 7-11!!!

im sick of San Jaun Village...The Church...and golf courses! I think i need to expand my horizons. Dane or Bassnet is there anywhere else out there near by that would be worth the time. I always like a trip to Lake Forest but i hate going up there. Thanks

Parker,
don't know. Try out Lake Forest 1, that place has alot of really quality fish, and the bite is pretty consistently good, I am going to go throw a Rago Gen. Blue Gill there after work today.
As for MV and your Float tube, I would charge it! I will try and take you there one of these weekends when all the Finals, (Hockey & B-Ball) are done!!! Nietz any word on the Lake 1 action? Isla Mar? X-Mas tree cove? Whattaya think?
