Very slow day except for 20 minutes. Met Rich Cullip at the bait receiver at 5:30. We fished the receiver for about an hour, then the tip of the sandbar, then back to the receiver, then went to the beach. No seabass. I got one small halibut at the beach on the way to the wharf on the 3" Chovy Big Hammer. Then we fished around the wharf then started back along the beach toward the harbor. About 100 yards West of the wharf I had a short flurry for about 20 minutes that produced 4 short halibut on the 3" Mackerel Big Hammer.
It was windy, cold, and overcast. The water looked pretty good but it was only 59 degrees.

Pete- it was nice to meet you. I just wish that the fish could have been a bit more cooperative. After you left at 10:30, I hung in there until noon. Unfortunately, my luck continued and I finished the day with no fish caught. My plan was to release all my fish but I didn't have the chance.
Perhaps, I'll pick a better tide (one with a bit more water movement) to try SB Harbor again. It was worth the drive just to see the launch spots, the fishing spots and learn about tubing SB Harbor. I'll be back again sometime. Thanks for the showing me the places to fish.
